As our nation marks 250 years of independence and Colorado celebrates its 150th anniversary of statehood, join the Garfield County Republicans for our Founders Day Gala at the Historic Hotel Colorado.

This event is more than a celebration—it is the premier fundraiser supporting the Garfield County Republican Party’s efforts in the 2026 midterm elections. Proceeds help fund:

• Voter outreach and engagement
• Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) efforts
• Volunteer recruitment and grassroots organizing
• Candidate support for local and state races
• Community events and voter education initiatives throughout Garfield County

Strawberry Days 2026 🇺🇸

What a fantastic day celebrating community, patriotism, and the start of summer at the Strawberry Days Parade in Glenwood Springs!

The Garfield County Republicans were proud to participate with our float commemorating America’s 250th Anniversary, featuring our now-famous elephant riding through downtown alongside Old Glory and a great group of volunteers and supporters.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the float possible, assisted with setup and logistics, donated their time and materials, and especially to those who walked the route with us and handed out flags and candy. Grassroots organizations are built by volunteers, and Saturday’s parade was a reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together in service of their community and country.

We also want to thank the Garfield County Republican Women, our candidates, and everyone who stopped to wave, cheer, and say hello along the parade route.

We’re not done yet!

The Garfield County Republicans will be joining the Pitkin County Republicans for the Aspen 4th of July Parade, and we’d love to have you join us as we continue celebrating our nation’s 250 years of freedom and sharing our message of commonsense leadership and civic engagement throughout our communities.

The Garfield County Republicans invite you to join us for our 2026 Founders Day Gala as we celebrate 250 years of American independence and prepare for one of the most important election cycles in recent memory.

This event is more than a celebration—it is the primary fundraiser supporting the work of the Garfield County Republican Party throughout the 2026 midterm elections. Funds raised help support:

• Voter outreach and engagement
• Get-Out-The-Vote efforts
• Precinct organization and volunteer recruitment
• Candidate support for local, county, and state races

This month’s guest speaker is Kirby Wynn, Garfield County’s Oil & Gas Liaison. Mr. Wynn brings decades of experience in energy, public policy, and Western land-use issues, and currently serves as a key resource on energy development and regulatory matters affecting Garfield County.

As Colorado continues to debate energy policy, public lands, economic growth, and environmental stewardship, this is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from someone working at the intersection of those issues every day.
