We have been receiving a large amount of inquiries about eclipse glasses. Yes, we do have glasses that we will be giving out during our eclipse program this Saturday at 3:30 pm. If there are any left over, we will hand them out on Sunday and Monday before the eclipse event!

Throwback Thursday: The 1st library for Garfield County was located in the New Castle school building and was established in 1938. The library served the entire county, both rural and urban areas, as well as all of the school districts!

Happy Colorado Day!

Happy Colorado Day! On August 1, 1876 Ulysses S. Grant made Colorado the 38th state to join the union. What are some of your favorite parts of living in this great state? We love the incredible libraries all over the state! And the mountains are pretty neat, too.
