Through partnerships, long-term planning and wise investment of donor contributions, United Way supports community programs and services within four impact areas:

United Way of the Coastal Empire serves four counties: Bryan, Chatham, Effingham and Liberty. United Way is a volunteer driven organ

ization that involves hundreds of community leaders, professionals and other volunteers in every aspect of our business, including fundraising, marketing and funding decisions, to ensure that your donations are truly making a difference. Jenkins Trust Fund and other income, which have exceeded all administrative and fundraising expenses, donor contributions go directly to support vital human services that impact our community. United Ways without a trust fund must generally allocate 10-15% of campaign funds to cover administrative and fundraising expenses.

We had a wonderful time participating in last night's Back 2 School Blowout! A huge thank you to Ready2CONNECT powered by action pact for doing an outstanding job recruiting volunteers, coordinating vendors, and organizing such an incredible community event. It was amazing to see so many families come together to celebrate the start of a new school year.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, United Way of the Coastal Empire was able to distribute 1,110 highlighters to local students—helping brighten their learning and set them up for success this school year.
