He comes to us with over 10 years of law enforcement experience and is passionate about partnerships with the community. We are proud he chose us and look forward to seeing what he does. Tonight, our Cadets are receiving water safety and life saving skills at the Ringgold City Pool. Thanks to the pool staff for allowing us to conduct training here.

Thank you to the National Police Association for giving our program a $1000 grant. This money will go a long way to support our kids.

Yesterday, the Ringgold Public Safety Cadets continued training for competitions by practicing Felony Traffic Stops.You might have heard them if you were anywhere near city hall.

This weekend the Cadets are camping/team building at Chester Frost Park. Special thanks to Sergrant Brumfield with the Hamilton County Park Rangers. The Cadets got to spend some time with him this morning learning about what Park Rangers do and how to become a Ranger. Thanks for keeping us safe Sgt. Brumfield.

Thanks to Wal-Mart in Fort O and to the Acropolis Grill on Hamilton Place for the donations. Acropolis donated a $50 gift card and Wal-Mart donated an Artic cooler valued at $150. Both items will be raffled together for a $10 donation during 1890’s Days. Come find our tent across from the Depot and get your ticket. What a deal!! Your donations help send our cadets to national competitions, buy uniforms, pay fees and allows many of them to participate in the program with no money out of pocket.

Brinley Baker is our third and last cadet graduating this week. Brinley will be graduating from Heritage High School this weekend. She has been with us for about two and half years and has been essential to our program here. Please join us in congratulating Brinley on her upcoming graduation.

Today, we would like recognize Jake Perry. Jake is graduating from Ringgold High School this week and we couldn’t be prouder of him. He has been with our program since it started. Currently, Jake serves as our youth leader in the program and is credited with helping restructure the unit from the Explorer program to the Public Safety program. Please join us in congratulating Jake on this monumental accomplishment.
