TODAY is your LAST CHANCE to view the items that have been stored away in the Time Capsule for the past 50 years! Stop by the Ringtown Valley Senior Citizens from 10am-4pm to see the history of our valley and SUBMIT something to go in the capsule for another 50 years. And make plans to attend re-burial on Sunday at 2pm at the historic Old White Church.

Don't miss your chance to see the contents of the Bicentennial Time Capsule buried in 1976! Contents on display Thursday 5-8pm, Friday 5-8pm and Saturday 10am-4pm at the Ringtown Valley Senior Citizens! You can still submit your items to be added when the capsule is re-buried this Sunday at 2pm. Submitted items can be dropped off during the display hours, Aug. 27th-29th. There are many additional items of local historical interest on display, including items on loan from the Ringtown Area Library local history collection. The library extends great appreciation to Ringtown Rotary Club for spearheading the 2026 Time Capsule project.

Fresh, locally grown vegetables available at the library today for anyone who needs them! Today's vegetables include: cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, grape tomatoes, yellow squash, & zucchini all grown by the volunteers at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. The library also maintains our Community Sharing Box of non-perishable foods - Leave What You Can, Take What You Need.
