🌟 Starr County Youth Represent at the Healthy Texas Youth Ambassador Summit!
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Family and Community Health is incredibly proud of 23 outstanding youth from Starr County who attended the Healthy Texas Youth Ambassador (HTYA) Summit at Texas A&M University this weekend!
Our new Ambassadors joined fellow youth leaders from across Texas to learn, collaborate, and build skills to promote healthier communities. Through interactive workshops, leadership development sessions, and team-building activities, they explored important topics such as nutrition, physical activity, mental wellness, and community engagement.
These young leaders are returning home inspired and ready to make a positive impact by sharing what they’ve learned with their peers, families, and the Starr County community. 💚
We extend our sincere gratitude to the parents for their support, and a special thank you to Master Wellness and HTYA Volunteer Iris Guerra for her leadership and guidance throughout the Summit.
Together, we are building a healthier future- one youth leader at a time!
