Join us next week, Saturday, October 16th, at 2pm as Andy Holten shares his story of being a hidden child during WWII.

Andy has shared his story of courage and survival many times as a substitute teacher for the
Rio Rancho School district and we are honored to have him share it again with us. After Andy's talk there will be time for questions.

Mr. Holten's talk is a part of the Americans and the Holocaust Exhibit featured at the Rio Rancho Public Libraries beginning October 12.

Americans and the Holocaust was made possible by the generous support of lead sponsor Jeannie & Jonathan Lavine.

Can we (still) bring book donations to the shed at Loma?
Thanks for the great "Grab N Go" bags. My kids love them! Parent's- check them out!
Are you guys open to the public?
please consider a drop off/curbside pick up system where it the staff fills orders that people place online through the holds system. after returning books, staff can either sanitize the books or just set them aside for a few days before they are recirculated. our kids need access to books - not electronic books but actual physical books. and especially if we need to teach at home, we need access to reference books. thank you.
The first two bills I will introduce are 1) to remove the Income tax on Social Security payments, and 2) to increase funding for our libraries, community and senior centers. These are such challenging times but if we work together we can create a better future for Rio Rancho, Sandoval County and our wonderful New Mexico! Click below to learn more.
Why hasnt the Ester Bone Library posted the photos from Friday's steampunk event yet? they stated they would by saturday afternoon.???🙁
curious here-where are the photos from the steampunk event? 🤨
i was at the Esther Bone library yesterday for the Steampunk event. I was hoping photos of the event would be posted. ☺️
Happened upon this poem today :) Don’t Go Into the Library Alberto Ríos, 1952 The library is dangerous— Don’t go in. If you do You know what will happen. It’s like a pet store or a bakery— Every single time you’ll come out of there Holding something in your arms. Those novels with their big eyes. And those no-nonsense, all muscle Greyhounds and Dobermans, All non-fiction and business, Cuddly when they’re young, But then the first page is turned. The doughnut scent of it all, knowledge, The aroma of coffee being made In all those books, something for everyone, The deli offerings of civilization itself. The library is the book of books, Its concrete and wood and glass covers Keeping within them the very big, Very long story of everything. The library is dangerous, full Of answers. If you go inside, You may not come out The same person who went in.
Do library card holders still have access to "The New York Times?" I can't find it on the new website. Thanks!
We had such a great expierience at the Loma Colorado branch the other day. Such kind helpful staff. My son is super excited about his new library card.
