Welcome to the online home of Rio Rico High School, home of the Hawks. We are one of six schools in the Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District, located in beautiful southern Arizona. 🎖️ JROTC Leadership in Action!

This Wednesday, JROTC’s CDT BN CDR Guzman-Pacheco, CDT BN CSM Felix, and CDT XO Niebla shared their experiences from the Arizona Leadership Youth Summer Camp.

Through this opportunity, our students strengthened their leadership skills while gaining a deeper understanding of government, civic responsibility, teamwork, and what it means to lead and serve others.

We are proud to see our Hawks bringing these experiences back to campus and sharing what they learned with their fellow cadets. Opportunities like these help our students build the confidence, knowledge, and skills to DREAM, LEARN, and LEAD!

Tonight's JV football game at Nogales has been moved to Time to Fly Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 pm.

All tickets purchased from Nogales will be refunded. A new ticket will need to be purchased at Rio Rico. Rio Rico is online only - NO CASH. Plan accordingly.

Congratulations to Sebastian Castro, Rio Rico High School’s Student Body President, on being selected as one of only three State Presidents through the Arizona Association of Student Councils (AASC)!

This is the first time in RRHS history that our Student Body President has been selected for this statewide leadership position. Sebastian was chosen through a competitive selection process that included applications, interviews, and speeches before thousands of conference attendees, and was ultimately voted in by student council members from across Arizona.

Demonstrating his dedication and initiative, Sebastian also reached out to former State Presidents and student council leaders throughout Arizona to learn from their experiences and prepare for this opportunity.

Last week, Sebastian was recognized by our Governing Board Members and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Melisa Lunderville for this incredible accomplishment.

We are proud of Sebastian and grateful for the guidance and support of his teachers, Counselor Ms. Kayli Munoz, and RRHS Principal Mr. Dagoberto Lopez.

Congratulations, Sebastian, on making RRHS history and leading the way at the state level!
