The Delta Bay Foundation presents Flora, Fauna, & Fun -- we'll be "fall frolicking" at the Brannan Island State Recreation Area in the Windy Cove campsite on Highway 160 across from the park entrance. The day will consist of a host of family activities and fun-filled learning experiences centered on this jewel of the state park system! Visiting presenters will explore the agriculture and environment in this part of the California Delta, including its rich history of natural wildlife, local small-hold farming, and native plants. We anticipate adding an area for local craft vendors, at least one food truck, and casual entertainment. Details TBA in the coming weeks so follow the event on Facebook! Funded by the Sacramento County TOT Grant program and hosted by the Delta Bay Foundation, a California 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, in conjunction with the staff and management of the BISRA. All are welcome, free and open to the public! Save the Date! For more information, call the secretary of the Delta Bay Foundation, Corinne Corley, at 816-520-9152 (yes, that's '816') OR EMAIL, [email protected]. Stay tuned for a list of participants, presenters, programs, and possibilities!
