Public Service Announcement: Inclement Weather Advisory

Location: Ripley, TN and surrounding areas

As inclement weather approaches our city and county, the safety of our residents is our highest priority. We are asking the community to treat this weather threat of snow, ice and cold temperature with the utmost respect and caution.

⚠️ Travel Safety

* Stay Off the Roads:

Please do not travel unless it is absolutely necessary.

1. Emergency Access:
Keeping the roads clear allows emergency responders and utility crews to move safely and quickly where they are needed most.

2. Risk Mitigation:
Driving in hazardous conditions puts both you and first responders at unnecessary risk.

🏠 Preparedness Recommendations

Stay Secure in Your Home:

Ensure that you have important and necessary supplies (food, water, ect.) on hand.

Check on Neighbors: If it is safe to do so, check in on elderly or vulnerable neighbors via phone or text.

Stay Informed: Monitor local weather channels and official social media pages for real-time updates.

We want to treat this threat with respect and caution. By staying home and staying safe, you help us protect the entire community." See you on the other side of this weather.
