Wow, 2025 was a very busy and eventful year for the company.
-Three new ambulances. By buying two small ambulances and a used box (that's identical to the other "big" truck and remounting it) we were able to replace three vehicles for the same amount of money that it would cost to buy one brand new modular ambulance. A charitable donation by the late Frank Stivers and the generosity of our Bingo Players and Type 3 site made this possible.
-New storage building to house two BLS ambulances to provide security and keep them out of the elements.
-Standardized equipment and trucks: the two modular ambulances share an identical box to ensure smooth transition between trucks for staff, and, all ventilators, bags, IV Pumps, and Equipment is the same in all three ALS trucks. This upgrade also brought BiPap to all three ALS ambulances, in which, has already shown to reduce the number of respiratory distress patients that require intubation during our care or within 12 hours of drop off to the ER. Reducing morbidity, mortality, ICU stays, and saving patients money.
-Blood Products came in August. Huge advancement of care for patients in hemorrhagic shock. Our paramedics are able to initiate care quicker.
-Certification Advancements. Congratulations to Brian Mills and Andrew Royalty for obtaining their Paramedic certification. Congratulations to Danielle Hart for obtaining her AEMT certification.
-EMT Basic class started, will finish this month, adding new providers to the street.
-New protocol updates. Cyanokit. BLS Oral Zofran. AEMT Zofran.
