🚨 SCAM ALERT – FRAUDULENT PROPERTY LETTERS 🚨

The Register of Deeds and Property Assessor’s Offices have been bombarded with calls regarding fraudulent letters residents are receiving claiming that records indicate a recent deed transfer on their property.

These letters:
▪️ Are from an entity called “Clerks Property Office” (Photo of letterhead attached)
▪️ May list different properties and varying service fees
▪️ Are NOT from Lauderdale County or any official county office

⚠️ These letters are a SCAM. Do not send payment.

If you need a copy of your deed, you may:
✔️ Visit the Register of Deeds Office in person
✔️ Request a copy to be mailed or emailed

COMING SOON: Need a date for Valentine's Day? Want one that is entertaining, interesting, and won't ghost you before the big day? Stop by the library next week to pick up your "Blind Date with a Book". It's easy. Just stop by the library next week and pick a wrapped "New Release" book off our Date Night shelf. Take it home, unwrap it and fill out the slip inside to rate the book after reading it. Bring the filled out slip with you when you return the book to be entered in a gift basket drawing! This is also a great way to discover new to you authors and genres!

Books will be available starting Tuesday, 2/10

is a Level 3 Library in Ripley, Tennessee, serving Lauderdale County residents. We offer public computer use, free WiFi, free computer training classes, a children’s summer reading program, many community events including Color & Chat group for adults and several movie showings throughout the year! We maintain a print and audio collection. Newly released items as well as you favorite classics. We have a DVD/Blu-Ray collection of movies with something to interest everyone. We have a general fiction, non-fiction, young adult, large print, audiobook, reference, and a Tennessee collection area. We also have a genealogy room and a paid Ancestry.com subscription on all our public computers for your use. We have a new printer/copier that not only allows us to be able to print color copies for you but we can now print documents and pictures directly from your mobile device. We can also scan your documents to one of our public computers so you can email them instead of faxing them.
