Since West Virginia Can't Wait (WVCW) has announced new endorsements, I have to say I'm thrilled at the folks whom they've endorsed since I announced my endorsement.

The big thing that sets WVCW candidates apart is that we have pledged to not accept corporate donations, so we're all running people-powered campaigns. Check out the platform all WVCW candidates sign at the 🔗 in bio: it'll be the button that says "WV Can't Wait Platform."

West Virginia really can't wait. Neither can Jackson County.

The Jackson County Democratic Women's Club will be hosting Eli Baumwell, Director of ACLU-WV at First United Methodist Church, 719 Flinn Avenue, Ravenswood, WV on September 1. He will address the erosion of civil liberties in the United States and in West Virginia and how the ACLU is fighting to protect those liberties. A brief JCDWC meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. with Director Baumwell speaking at the conclusion of business. Refreshments will follow the meeting. All Democrats, Independents and supporters of the ACLU are invited.

I've had some folks ask if they can get campaign merchandise, so I've got shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies available for purchase now! The first batch of orders will run through August 18 so that they'll arrive before the WV FDW Conference, but it won't be the only run of shirts.

If you prefer to have me order a shirt and have it delivered to my house, instead, please message me, and we'll make arrangements to get the money to me for the shirt. I'll let you know when the order arrives so that we can get your merch to you!
