🌷🖌🎨 The new mural is all done! Have you seen it yet?

👩‍🎨 Katie Lang, local artist and owner of Penny Peony Designs LLC, has worked hard to paint a wonderful image for all of us to enjoy in the Children and Tween Wing! We invite you to stop by, take a peek, and see the art Katie has created for the library!

🎁 This mural was made possible thanks to a surprise gift from the Carnegie Corporation of New York! This gift honors the lasting legacy of Andrew Carnegie, and the libraries he helped establish, as part of the Carnegie Corporation’s nationwide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

🏛 Though our library moved out of the original Carnegie building and to our current location at 120 Jefferson Street in 1972, we’re proud to continue our legacy as a Carnegie Library, and this generous gift will help us continue offering programs, services, and resources that enrich our community.

Tons of teens signed up for our summer reading program in June, and this is your reminder to come back to the library with your finished Reading Trackers to enter for a chance to win a grand prize!

We'll reopen with our regular hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

Regular Hours:
Monday-Thursday 9:00AM-8:00PM
Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM
Saturday 9:00AM-4:00PM
Sunday 1:00PM-4:00PM

As always, Wi-Fi is accessible from our parking lot, the book drop is available to return items, and the Libby App is open 24/7 to check out materials digitally!

Storytime offers active learning and fun for kids and their caregivers! Early literacy and STEM concepts spring to life through stories, music, and movement.

STAY & PLAY! Enjoy crafts and other enrichment activities after Storytime. It’s a time for kids to be curious and build social skills while adults enjoy connection and camaraderie.

Storytime is free and registration is not required. Join the fun!
