Ember is getting noticibly bigge and more feisty everyday. I still wanna bite that little face.........but I won't. (Again, we do not condone the biting of any animal faces or any faces for that matter.) If you are suffering from cuteness aggression, we don't blame you!

SOOOOOO BIG!!!!
Look at those feet. This little guy in gonna be a BIG boy!! He still looks like a kitten, but you can see the big cat features starting to make an appearance. We're pretty sure he will always be adorable!

MAUMEE HAS NO IDEA WHAT A "DERECHO" IS, BUT SHE SURE LOVES ENRICHMENT WITH OAK BRANCHES.
Am I the only one who hadn't heard that term before this week's storms?? Anyhoo, it provided a bunch of acorn filled branches and Maumee walked right over her daily serving of food to munch on fresh acorns. What a treat for her and a treat for us to watch!

CAN YOU HELP ME, PLEASE???????.

We're pulling on those heart strings, people!!! October will be our big fundraising month with our Howl-o-ween Gala at the Redmoor on October, 2nd and the Red Wolf Rampage on October 24th. We're changing things up a little this year with both fundraisers hoping to get some more participation for each. With our little guy, Ember and two 3-legged coyotes the medical bills and funds for an enclosure will be stretching us thin. TORNADO WARNINGS AND SEVERE STORMS ARE A BIG CONCERN FOR MOST OF OUR ANIMALS AT RED WOLF SANCTUARY..................EXCEPT THIS ONE!!
Ember could care less about the sirens blaring, winds and wolves howling, and trees falling. He just likes to play, maybe a little aggressively, but he IS a Bobcat. This little goofball has stolen our hearts! Too cute for words!!!

ATTENTION RED WOLF FANS AND FOLLOWERS!!
We are requestiong donated items or baskets for our basket raffle which is part of one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, Howl-o-ween at the Redmoor. WOLF "PUPPIES" ON PATROL.
All of our wolves have very large enclosures which need weeding to keep the plants under control and the bugs and ticks down. Our youngest wolves, Seneca and Nakoda (they will always be the puppies) are singing with the weedeaters, or bragging to the other wolves that they are getting lovins, or just howling for the heck of it. Either way, it just never gets old, especially when you're in there with them. Such an awesome experience with truly magnificent creatures!
