Today feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨

Dolly Parton gave the world a lifetime of music, laughter, kindness, and joy. Her songs became the soundtrack to so many lives, including those of generations of residents throughout The Waters.

We’ve sung along to her music, danced to her songs, dressed up in her honor, shared stories about her, and made more than a few wonderful memories along the way.

Today, as we look back on one of those fun-filled Dolly days at The Waters, these photos feel just a little more special. 🤍

Dolly, thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the generosity, the rhinestones, the big hair, the bigger heart, and all the joy you shared with the world.

Today we say goodbye, but we also celebrate one incredible life and a legacy that will live on for generations.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋✨

We will always love you. 🤍

🎶 Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolly, lolly, lollipop! 🍭

On Monday, we celebrated at The Waters of Rising Sun by handing out lollipops to our residents and staff. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the day a little sweeter!

…but we’re having a holly jolly time celebrating Christmas in July at The Waters of Rising Sun! Yesterday our residents enjoyed a festive day filled with tropical leis, juicy cheeseburgers, and plenty of holiday cheer with a summertime twist. 🍔🌺

Last week we celebrated by making dirt cake loaded with plenty of gummy worms! 🐛

Our residents had a great time putting together this classic treat, and it made for a delicious afternoon snack everyone enjoyed!

We had a hoppin’ good time at our latest Sock Hop! 🎶🕺

Our staff showed up dressed to the nines, and our residents danced the day away right along with them!

The smiles say it all… and we already can’t wait to do it again! 💛
