The City of Ritzville is making one final door-to-door effort to complete our community income survey. Representatives from Evergreen Rural Water of Washington (ERWoW) will be visiting homes on Wednesday, July 29 to collect the remaining surveys needed for a valid income survey.

Why does this matter?
A completed survey helps the City qualify for valuable State and Federal grant opportunities that can help fund much-needed water and wastewater system improvements. Every completed survey brings us one step closer to being eligible for these important funding opportunities.

Your privacy is protected.
Washington State guidelines require the survey to be conducted by an independent third party. ERWoW—not the City—will collect the information, and all responses are kept strictly confidential. Individual household information is never shared with the City.

If an ERWoW representative knocks on your door, we encourage you to take a few minutes to participate. Your response can make a real difference for our community.

If you have questions, please contact Tracey Hunter with ERWoW at 360-462-9287, or contact Ritzville City Hall.

Thank you for helping invest in Ritzville's future!

A Friendly Cemetery Reminder

We respectfully ask visitors to not place live ammunition on headstones or grave markers as a tribute.

While we understand and appreciate the intent to honor loved ones, live rounds can create a safety concern for cemetery staff, volunteers, visitors, and children who may encounter them.

Thank you for helping us keep our cemetery a safe and beautiful place for everyone who comes to remember and honor their loved ones.

Pictured is an example of live ammunition recently found on a headstone.
