River Falls Fire Department

At approximately 2:52 p.m. on 10/21/2026, the River Falls Fire Department was dispatched by Pierce County Dispatch to a reported structure fire at a residence on Falls Street in the City of River Falls.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke coming from the residence. Crews located the fire and immediately initiated suppression efforts to bring it under control.
Additional mutual aid resources were requested to assist with firefighting operations and help maintain emergency response coverage in the surrounding area.
Once the fire was extinguished and overhaul operations were completed, command was terminated. All responding units cleared the scene and returned to service at approximately 4:27 p.m.
No injuries were reported.

• Ellsworth Fire Dept.
• Allina Health Emergency Medical Services
• River Falls Police Department

A big thank you to everyone who joined us Monday night for our annual open house! The weather was perfect for a night of firefighter demonstrations, pictures with Sparky, learning about fire safety, and much more.

And as always, thank you to our volunteer firefighters who helped make this event possible. We'll see you at next year's open house -- with a new fire station to show off!
