Dominican University Blues and the Spirit Symposium Dominican University sponsors the biannual Blues and the Spirit Symposium and other special events that explore the legacy of African American music.

The Blues and the Spirit Symposium will host the Chicago premier of the newly released documentary, America's Blues, on January 16 at 6:00pm, followed by an evening of dialogue, debate, discussion and deep, deep Blues.
