🚒 Residential Structure Fire – Roberts Cut Off

River Oaks Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 200 block of Roberts Cut Off.

Engine 113 was first on scene, reporting heavy fire showing upon arrival. Fire crews worked to bring the fire under control.

River Oaks Fire Department was assisted by the Fort Worth Fire Department and Sansom Park Fire Department

We appreciate the assistance of our neighboring departments and the teamwork demonstrated by all personnel on scene.

Average rainfall totals between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain are expected with isolated higher amounts up to 5 inches possible through Friday morning. Continue to check back for updates to the forecast!

❤️ A Special Thank You to Castleberry Elementary! 🚒

Your River Oaks Fire Department would like to give a huge thank you to the 4th grade students at Castleberry Elementary for thinking of our firefighters today!

The students created handwritten letters and artwork for our crews, and even treated us to coffee and donuts. 🍩☕ We enjoyed reading every message, and the time and creativity they put into them truly meant a lot to us.

Gestures like these are a great reminder of why we are so proud to serve this community.

To all of the 4th graders who helped make our day a little brighter: thank you for your kindness, your creativity, and your support! We appreciate you! ❤️🚒

Twenty-five years ago today, firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and ordinary citizens ran toward unimaginable danger to help people they had never met.

On September 11, 2001, 2,977 lives were lost. Among them were 343 members of the FDNY who reported for duty that morning and never made it home.

For those of us in the fire service, September 11 is more than a date in history. It is a reminder of what it means to answer the call, to serve others without knowing what waits on the other side of the alarm.

Today, the members of the River Oaks Fire Department remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those who survived, and the families who have carried their loss for the past 25 years.

We honor them every time we put on the uniform. We remember them every time we answer the call.

343 firefighters. One nation forever changed. We will never forget.

🚒 June 2026 Incident Activity 🚒

Our firefighters and EMTs remained busy throughout June, responding to 158 emergency calls, bringing our year-to-date total to 882 incidents.

June responses included:

🚨 6 False Alarms
📋 36 Other Incidents

Whether it's a medical emergency, motor vehicle accident, fire, or public service call, the members of the River Oaks Fire Department are proud to serve our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
