After raising money for the Special Olympics through the Torch Run, our students had the incredible opportunity to run alongside the RVPD and help carry the Flame of Hope. Their dedication, generosity, and community spirit truly embody what it means to lead by example.

Today in 8th Grade Pre-Algebra, students put math into action with a hands-on investigation! 🧵📏

Students tied knots in a piece of string and measured how the length changed as more knots were added. By collecting and graphing their data, they discovered a negative correlation—as the number of knots increased, the length of the string decreased.

This engaging activity helped students connect real-world observations to mathematical concepts while practicing measurement, data analysis, and graphing skills.

Holdrum is so proud to have partnered with the Zack Latteri Foundation for a meaningful day of giving back. After collecting more than 600 donated items, we welcomed Karen Kosch, Sharon Latteri, and the ZLF student ambassadors, as well as our own Holdrum students on Wednesday 5/20 to assemble Zack Packs in the cafeteria.
Together, we created 31 Zack Packs that will be delivered to local hospitals to support children and families in need. We are grateful for the partnership, and the opportunity to honor Zack’s legacy through kindness, service, and community. Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative!
