🚒🩺 Bridging the Gap Between Clinical Care and Emergency Response 🩺🚒

Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services welcomed students from United Education Institute's Medical Assistant Program for a tour of Fire Station 8.

During their visit, students had the opportunity to see how patient care extends beyond the walls of a medical office and into the emergency response environment. Firefighters and paramedics showcased emergency apparatus, specialized medical equipment, and the tools used to provide lifesaving care in the field.

The tour helped connect the skills Medical Assistants use in clinical settings with the fast-paced realities of prehospital emergency medicine.

We appreciate United Education Institute for visiting and allowing their students to gain firsthand insight into emergency medical services and the important partnership between healthcare professionals in the office and those serving in the field.
