Lake Elsinore & San Jacinto Watersheds Authority LESJWA is dedicated to improving water quality and wildlife habitats. To seek ongoing reliable revenue to operate the LESJWA JPA in fulfillment of its mission.

Background
Formed in April 2000, the Lake Elsinore and San Jacinto Watersheds Authority is a joint powers authority entrusted with State and local funds to improve water quality and wildlife habitats, primarily in Lake Elsinore, as well as in Canyon Lake and the surrounding watersheds. Our Goals
To support planning, design and implementation of projects to improve water quality at both Lake Elsino

re, Canyon Lake, and the San Jacinto River Watershed. To work with stakeholders to secure reliable funding to operate and maintain water quality improvement projects at both Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, and the San Jacinto River Watershed. To serve as administrator of the Lake Elsinore/Canyon Lake TMDL Task Force and a water quality trading program for the San Jacinto River Watershed.
