Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the area. Please watch for utility workers, emergency personnel, and traffic control devices.

If possible, plan alternate routes during the closure window.

No need to be alarmed if you notice a heavy presence of smoke in the area.

The smoke is coming from a 500-acre controlled burn being conducted at the Estelle Unit. This is a planned and monitored burn.
Due to the size of the operation, smoke will likely remain visible in our area over the coming days depending on wind and weather conditions.
Please use caution while driving in areas where visibility may be reduced, especially during early morning and evening hours.

As always, if you see something that appears uncontrolled or poses an immediate danger, call 9-1-1.
Stay safe,

🚨 Community Notice – No Cause for Alarm 🚨

If you see a bright glow in the sky that looks like a large fire, please don’t be alarmed. The pipeline company on FM 980 is performing a controlled flare as they purge a large LPG line.

🔥 The flare may be visible for an extended period of time, but it is fully controlled, monitored, and manned by the pipeline company.

There is no danger to the community at this time.

We appreciate everyone’s awareness and understanding. If you have concerns, feel free to reach out.
