SB 72 set the target: 9 million acre-feet of additional water supply by 2040. Now DWR is building the plan to get there. Implementation is where this promise becomes a reality. www.cawaterforall.com

Remember to take breaks from the heat, seek shade or air conditioning when possible, and check on children, older adults and pets. Stay safe, drink up and keep that water bottle handy!💧

Our Water Use Efficiency and Water Resources teams recently attended the 2026 California Water Data Summit, connecting with peers and experts from across the state and exploring how data, AI and digital tools are shaping the future of the water industry.

Industry summits like these allow us to bring back fresh ideas and strategies that enhance long-term water planning, improve operational efficiency and better anticipate future needs, all in support of reliable water service for our customers and communities. 💧🤝
