History buff? Nothing says summer vacation like a trip to Athens… but hitting all the historical hotspots while it’s – well – hot, can be a problem. Heat Illness happens abroad, too– don't let sickness be your souvenir!

Drink plenty of fluids, wear light, loose clothing, use hats/sunglasses, and plan outdoor activities for cooler hours. UV exposure is highest from mid-morning to afternoon, even in cloudy weather. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing.
