Our annual Backpack & School Supply Giveaway is SOLD OUT for the 15th year in a row! On Saturday, we’ll be distributing backpacks full of notebooks, markers, and other essentials to over 500 students. This is one of our biggest events of the year and brings together our entire community, whether you’re a neighbor, justice impacted parent, or a volunteer. All of our children deserve to have everything they need to succeed, especially in times like these when families are struggling with rising costs of living.

The answer is: not unless we LOCK IN over the next 6 months to keep pushing for oversight! Otherwise the Ad Hoc committee could become just another delay to accountability. We need to make sure OUR voices are heard and that this committee is not dominated by people who want the sheriffs to continue to commit abuses unchecked.
