Riverside, Illinois Police Explorer Post #390 Riverside Explorer Post #390 is a cooperative effort between the Village and the Boy Scouts to teach teenagers about a career in law enforcement.

The Riverside Police Explorer Post #390 is an organization founded by former Assistant Chief of the Riverside Police Department Bob Gordon. It is a collaborative effort by the Riverside Police Department and Boy Scouts of America (Learning for Life) that allows youth ages 14-20 to learn about law enforcement from members of the Riverside Police Department. The Post attends bi-annual State Conferen

ces located in Springfield, Illinois as well as National Conferences in locations such as Flagstaff, Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia and Denver, Colorado.
