Feeding America Riverside San Bernardino (FARSB) is a 501(C)3 non-profit non-denominational organization that serves both the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties (also referred to as the Inland Empire). There are over 400,000 people who are food insecure in the IE, with many of those people being children. FARSB, through its partnership with over 250 local nonprofits, distributes over 2 million

pounds of food per month to the community. Although FARSB is part of the Feeding America network, we are an independent entity and rely solely on the generosity and support of our local community to fund our daily operations. SUN Bucks are back for Summer 2026! ☀️🍎

Starting June 1st, eligible California families can receive $120 per child to help buy groceries while school is out. Many families will be automatically enrolled through programs like CalFresh, CalWORKs, Medi-Cal, or free/reduced-price school meals. If not automatically enrolled, families can apply through their child’s school by August 31, 2026.

The numbers are in, and we have so much to thank our community for. Because of you, millions of meals reached neighbors in need this past year. Food was rescued, shared, and turned into hope.

Just last year, FARSB saved over 25.4 million pounds of food from the landfill, distributed 39 million pounds of food, and served 5.6 million neighbors across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. This incredible work wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our community partners, who help pack, transport, and distribute each meal. Your support makes our work possible, and we couldn't have done it without you!

Last week, members from our Development team traveled to Chicago to attend the FANO Digital Strategy Institute, joining fellow hunger-relief leaders from across the country for a collaborative exchange of innovative marketing and digital engagement strategies.

Through this experience, our staff strengthened their skills in storytelling, audience targeting, and outreach, with the goal of bringing back fresh ideas to enhance how we connect with our community online. From expanding our digital presence to refining how we share impact, this opportunity reflects our continued commitment to growing awareness, deepening engagement, and advancing the fight against hunger 🧡
