Our region is home to strong, diverse communities whose voices deserve to be heard in every room where decisions are made. I am proud to announce that my bill, SB 1379, has been signed into law by Governor Newsom Governor Gavin Newsom !

Riverside County families and taxpayers deserve transparency and accountability. SB 1379 delivers long-overdue reform and strengthens independent oversight and accountability in Riverside County by separating the offices of sheriff and Coroner and creating an independent office of the medical examiner!
