While in partnership with local government and private business, we build a sense of community pride with 24,000 volunteer hours organizing community beautification projects in the City of Riverside. Our formula for success is simple. Since 1992 KRCB has provided hands-on stewardship with litter prevention, graffiti eradication and tree plating projects year round. Lou has worked as KRCB’s intern through RCC’s College Corps program since September 2025 and today was his last day. His hard work helped keep us on track and organized when projects got busy and though we’ll miss him, we’re excited to see what he accomplishes in the future.

Join KRCB and plant expert, Jesse Aleman succs2byou, at Hangar 24 Craft Brewing Riverside for Surviving with Succulents - a workshop for learning how to care for your plants!

Attendees at this PEP meeting will get expert instruction from Jesse while 🎨 painting a custom pot to take a new succulent home in! Food and drinks from the brewery will be available for purchase as well.

Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful is thrilled to partner with Riverside County's First District and the Office of Supervisor Jose Medina to organize two cleanups in Highgrove and University City this June!

Join us to beautify these communities through litter pick up, brush clean up and graffiti removal throughout the neighborhoods. Volunteers will spend a few hours cleaning, but the impact can be seen for months to come.

🗓 Cleanup Dates & Staging Locations:
📍 Saturday, June 13, 2026 – Highgrove Cleanup
⏰ Event Time: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
📌 Staging Location: Zorbas (450 Iowa Ave, Riverside, CA 92507)

📍 Saturday, June 20, 2026 – Highgrove & University City Cleanup

Thanks for joining us at our Ward 3 Beautification Project this morning! ✨

59 volunteers spent a total of 177 hours cleaning streets across Ward 3 removing weeds on roadsides and sidewalks, picking up litter, removing graffiti, planting new greenery 🌱 and painting walls.

In total our volunteers picked up 2,415 lbs of litter and green waste, planted 150 plants, and painted 560 ft of walls.

We'll see you at our next cleanups on June 13th & 20th in Highgrove and University City!
