As our communities continue recovering from the Bain Fire, Riverside County remains committed to helping impacted residents access support and recovery resources.

Families returning home may still be dealing with smoke damage, food loss, emotional stress, and other recovery challenges. County departments and community partners are continuing to coordinate assistance for residents in need.

If you or someone you know needs support, please review the recovery resources listed in this post.

Thank you to our firefighters, first responders, county staff, volunteers, and community partners who have worked tirelessly throughout this emergency.

At UC Riverside’s Teacher Education Program, Supervisor Jose Medina met with future educators to discuss the continued implementation of Ethnic Studies in California classrooms.

As a lifelong educator, his focus remains on what happens in the classroom—ensuring students feel seen, connected, and prepared for their future.

With a new generation of teachers stepping forward, that work continues.
