During March 2026, Riverside Police officers remained committed to protecting our community through proactive patrol, enforcement, investigations, and community engagement.

In addition, our team handled crash investigations, records requests, felony case follow-ups, and digital forensic investigations.

Beyond enforcement, officers also attended community events and meetings to strengthen relationships with those we serve. These numbers reflect the hard work, dedication, and professionalism our officers show every day to keep Riverside a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.

📣 Community Alert 📣

We want to make our community aware of an upcoming activity involving local high school students. Over the next several days, students may be participating in a game known as "Senior Assassin", which is similar to Nerf Wars. The goal of the game is for students to “eliminate” opponents using sq**rt guns.

To help ensure everyone’s safety, students have been instructed to use brightly colored sq**rt guns, avoid wearing clothing that conceals their faces, and refrain from any behavior that could be mistaken for criminal activity. These guidelines are in place to keep the game fun, safe, and easily distinguishable from real‑world threats.

We encourage our residents to stay aware of their surroundings and continue looking out for one another. As always, if you observe anything suspicious or concerning, please do not hesitate to contact us.
