If your home was built before 1978, there may be lead in the paint inside and outside your home. Lead can hurt your child. Most children who have lead poisoning do not look or act sick. The only way to know if your child has lead poisoning is to get a blood test for lead. Ask your child's doctor for a blood lead test. For more information, visit: go.cdph.ca.gov/LeadFreeKids

The Allergen Disclosure for Dining Experiences Act has officially rolled out in California!
Starting July 1, 2026, chain restaurants with 20+ locations must provide written allergen info for every menu item — including sesame, the newest major food allergen.

Latex paints, oil-based paints, non-empty aerosol paint cans, and solvents all contain potentially hazardous materials and must be disposed of properly.
