The Riverside County Department of Housing and Workforce Solutions (HWS) is a new agency that was formed in 2020 by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors in response to the need to focus on innovative ways to elevate social and economic opportunity in Riverside County. NORA is a r**e crisis center in Riverside County, providing trauma‑informed, survivor‑centered support for adults and children affected by sexual violence, domestic violence, and child abuse. NORA empowers survivors by helping them reconnect with their sense of self, strengthen resilience, and build the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.

Riverside County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program plays a critical role in sustaining NORA’s mission. CDBG funding has directly supported NORA’s Prevention and Intervention for Trauma Survivors programming, helping ensure that essential services remain available to community members who need them most.
