What do Lander Rural Firemen do on a Saturday when it's too windy to do prescribed burns? In the morning they lay out a mile of gated pipe for a retired fireman/rancher. In the afternoon they extinguish uncontrolled fires, threatening homes and property. Our community is so fortunate to have these dedicated, hard working guys!

We now have a website up with 4th of July water fight themed shirts. The funds from the shirts goes towards our yearly banquet, family events, jackets/shirts and hats for our members. There will be more to come soon.
