Last night members of the Riverton Police Association were honored to present Riverton Police Leadership Award recipients, Charlotte and Max, both 8th graders with personal laptop computers. We hope these computers will help further their education in high school. Great Job!!!

Congratulations Corporal Reeder on graduating the 126th New Jersey State Police Crime Scene Investigation Course. This intensive 280 hour course covered numerous topics including fingerprint classification, evidence collection and crime scene photography just to name a few.

Corporal Reeder is the first Riverton Police Officer to graduate from this training. Having an officer certified and trained in crime scene will assist us in the future with investigating crimes and delivering the best service we can to our residents.

Yeaterday, our officers attended the annual Burlington County Fallen Officers Memorial Service to honor law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Each year we remember one of our own Ptl Thomas Whitelock who made the ulitmate sacrifice. The Memorial Service brings our local law enforcement community together for a day of solemn remembrance.

The Riverton Police Department is investigating a theft of Dewalt Power Tools. Yesterday, around 4:00 PM in the 200 block of Cinnaminson Street a contractor was working at a residence. He left two black milk crates curbside filled with used dewalt tools which were taken. Police are actively reviewing CCTV footage.

It is possible someone may have thought they were put out curbside for trash pickup, but that was not the case. If anyone has any information on these tools or knows the whereabouts of these Dewalt tools please contact the Riverton Police Department at 856-829-1212 ir drop them off at our PD without issue.

Again, these tools belong to someone and he needs them for work. The tools include two power drills, a nail gun, a table saw, portable saw, and a router.

This sweet little girl was found this morning at 0630 around Harrison and Elm. Our officers had her at the station for awhile but animal control just came to get her. If this is your dog or you know where this dog resides please let us know.

Our officers are out and about on bike patrol, working to keep our community safe. Ptl. Adirato got out this afternoon and engaged with some local residents.

The bike patrol helps us cover Bank Ave, the neighborhoods and our community events while staying approachable and connected.
