Thank you to Mr. Zaun, our 8th grade station runners and parent volunteers and spectators, our Committee Head Jenni Ferroni who coordinated a soft pretzel snack and cold water for all students, and our own Riverton Fire Department for the cool off spray from the fire trucks. Peace out, Field Day ‘26! You were a good one!

Last night members of the Riverton Police Association were honored to present Riverton Police Leadership Award recipients, Charlotte and Max, both 8th graders with personal laptop computers. We hope these computers will help further their education in high school. Great Job!!!

As we are wrapping up our year, we encourage you to start thinking of where you can fit in for next year. Send in money, volunteer your time, chair a committee, help with an event, drop off snacks… every little bit helps! When we create our village, we are always looking for more help to make these once in a lifetime memories with our kids and our teachers in our community. THANK YOU to our amazing committee heads, all our volunteers, small businesses, Riverton staff and teachers, caregivers, extended families who attended our events for being supportive and generous in our 2025-2026 school year.

Thankful for all our parent volunteers!
Most of these volunteers are full time working moms, or stay at home moms (and we have dads too!)
It’s truly a joy to give back to your community by planning events that create memories. It doesn’t take only super smart, creative, or people with a ton of time.
We just need YOU!
We will be resting and resetting for the summer, and will be back with fresh new faces and ideas for our 2026-2027 school year. Looking forward to next year! Thanks for a good year, Riverton school supporters!

We had ourselves a FLYING good time at Refreshing Mountain in Lancaster County for this years’ middle school trip. Thank you to for all her hard work coordinating this trip; this is a parent led trip for middle schoolers and parents/caregivers that we offer at cost.
We climbed trees, flew down mountains on zip lines, scavenger hunted, ate, grabbed ice cream and delicious iced coffee, and made amazing memories for another Riverton school year. Thank you to a great group of kids, and a great group of parents/friends. See you next year!

Thank you to Nicole Rafter, who organized and planned this trip this year. It’s looking to be a beautiful day, with so many fun things planned. Last call! Field Day for our big kids is this Friday… if you need an ADDITIONAL tshirt, please fill out the Google form and payment option until Wednesday. We can only take replacement orders until Wednesday for this Friday’s festivities. We will reopen orders shortly for the little Rivertonians t-shirts for their Field Day in June!

Good afternoon Riverton Families!
Our monthly PTO meeting is now THURSDAY May 21st at 7pm (please note day change) because our Middle School trip is Wednesday.
Please send all board nominations to our email [email protected]. Anyone can be a board member, except for President, which needs to have one term on the board in any capacity. We will take all nominations, and there will be an electronic election at the end of our meeting for the next years board. We will also be talking about volunteer expectations, committee heads and other fun things. If you have an interest in helping make the Riverton school community a fun place to grow up, we’d love to have you! All caregivers are welcome!

What a lovely art show! Showcased the best of our students’ artwork all year with our favorite Art teacher, Mrs. Devonshire, who worked with as we raise money for our art department. Thank you to the many of you who came and purchased artwork and participated in our silent auction and all the winners from our staff and parent artists. Thank you Mrs. Devonshire for your hard work!
