THURSDAY, MAY 11, 2022, WE RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT A CHILD FELL INTO THE RIVER FROM THE DOCK BEHIND TOWN HALL. THE CHILD WAS RECOVERED BY AN ADULT FAMILY MEMBER. ONLY THE ADULT HAD INJURIES FROM THE INCIDENT.

EMERGENCY RESPONDERS WERE NOT NOTIFIED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

WE ARE ACTING ON THIS NOTICE IN EFFORTS TO GET SAFETY EQUIPMENT NEAR THE DOCKS FOR PUBLIC USE.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO CALL 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY FOR ANY EMERGENCY.

Nurses are a vital part to our healthcare system and are some of the most compassionate and kind faces you’ll see in a hospital or doctor office setting. They have a way to ease your biggest fear and provide comfort in some of the toughest situations.

The COVID-19 pandemic took its toll on nurses physically, mentally, and emotionally but that didn’t sway their drive to care and help.

Our crews work alongside nurses on a daily basis and we are very thankful to have a great relationship with the nurses in our community.
