⚠️ Use caution in the area of Woods Run Rd, where the hillside has slid in the past. Several small slides have filled the ditch, causing water and debris to wash out into the roadway. As of 1:00 AM, the lane coming into Baxter is partially blocked. Cones have been placed in an attempt to warn drivers.
There are also several areas along McCurdysville Pike where ditches are full and washing into the road. The DOH has been notified and made aware that both roadways need attention.
Please slow down, use extra caution, and avoid driving through standing water or debris if possible.

We were back out at the location of the rockslide between Woods Run and Skyline Dr this morning. There were a couple smaller rocks in the roadway that we removed. The hillside is still actively sliding, WVDOH has been made aware of this. Please use caution in that area. As of right now the roadway is still open in both directions.

Paw Paw Creek Rd is now open between Skyline Dr and Woods Run Rd. Please continue to use caution in that area due to damaged guardrail as a result of the rock slide.
