A BIG thank you to PakMail Beachside for donating 50 boxes and tape to help us pack and safely transport 1,000 soup bowls being made by the amazing artists of Indian River Clay! 🎨❤️

Your generosity helps make our 34th Annual Soup Bowl a success! We are so grateful for local businesses that support the Samaritan Center and our mission to help homeless families in our community.

Catholic Charities is grateful to Joan Abbott and Jay Prager for their generous donation of school supplies and personal care items for families in Pahokee served at our St. Mary's Center.

Thanks to their kindness, 22 families received items to help their children start the school year prepared and confident.

We are especially grateful for community members who recognize that small acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference for families working toward stability and a brighter future.

Thank you, Mrs. Abbott and Mr. Prager, for helping create hope!

Last night volunteers gathered at Indian River Clay to glaze some of the bowls for this year’s Soup Bowl event benefiting Catholic Charities Samaritan Center. We can’t wait to see the finished bowls that will be featured at our 11/5/26 event!

Honoring a Legacy of Generosity

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach joins the community in remembering philanthropist and longtime Palm Beach County leader Alfonso “Alfy” Fanjul Jr., who passed away at 89.

As highlighted in The Palm Beach Post, Alfy’s commitment to philanthropy and service left a lasting impact on our community. We are grateful to have been part of his legacy of generosity and compassion.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this time.

When Bishop Manuel put out the call to provide aid to Cuba, many people throughout the Diocese of Palm Beach responded generously. Last week, staff from Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach took the opportunity to deliver essential medical support directly to the Dioceses of Santiago de Cuba and Bayamo Manzilla. Sandra Perez and Lisandra Esberri had the opportunity to meet directly with Archbishop Dionisio and Bishop Osmany, along with the Caritas Directors from both Dioceses, and many of the priests and women religious serving throughout the region. The staff brought with them the prayers and support of our Diocese, and in return saw first-hand the many ways in which our efforts make a difference to the people of Cuba. Together, we are bringing help and hope to those that need it. We are so proud of our staff for delivering this message of solidarity!
