A sunrise worth slowing down for. 🌅

Sea turtle tracks along the shoreline are a reminder that nesting season is in full swing on our beaches. As you enjoy the coast this summer, please remember to do your part to keep our beaches sea turtle safe by properly discarding fishing line, filling in holes, removing trash, knocking down sandcastles, and keeping lights off at night.

Every small action helps protect nesting mothers and hatchlings.

A reminder to our visitors and anglers that pier construction is scheduled to begin next week, June 1st, 2026. Material staging is also expected to begin on May 28th.

As of now, work is expected to begin on a portion of the “T” section of the pier, with only part of that area planned to be closed at a time.

We are working closely with the county and the construction team throughout this process and will continue sharing weekly updates as we receive them so you know what to expect before your visit.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we move through this process.

Good news!👀

Construction on the pier refurbishment won’t officially begin onsite until June 1st. Starting May 1st, crews will be working offsite to prepare pallet assembly, so you can continue enjoying the space a little while longer before any on-site activity begins.

Hey pier visitors! We have a change in Pier hours starting this Thursday, February 19, 2026 to sunrise - sunset. Due to early sea turtle nesting activity on our beaches, we are adjusting our hours to nesting season schedule of sunrise - sunset a bit early to help our endangered sea turtles. The first Leatherback sea turtle nest in the entire state was found on Juno Beach last week, and more turtles are arriving nightly to nest. The sea turtle nesting season compliant hours will be in effect through October 31, 2026.
