Great game, great coaches, great memories!

Last night's coach pitch game was full of fun, teamwork, and excitement. Our players left the field inspired and ready for the next one.

T-Ball and Coach Pitch team pictures are scheduled.

Pictures will be taken at the back of the field. Orange cones will mark the picture location for each team.

The Roanoke Rapids Optimist Club recently presented two $2,000 Crawford Hoyle Scholarships to two worthy seniors at Roanoke Rapids Early College High School and Roanoke Rapids High School.

Noah Draughan son of Angie and Michael Whitney. Draughan, who will be attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall.

Juleigh Hall daughter of Bobbie and Jeffery Crawley. Hall, who will be attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall.

We would like to congratulate both students on a job well done!
