Roanoke County Administration Center (5204 Bernard Dr, Roanoke, VA 24018) will be closing early on Thursday, March 5, at 3 p.m. due to mechanical issues.

Roanoke County Administration Center will reopen on Friday, March 6, at 8 a.m. and will close at 11 a.m.

Starting March 6, the shuttle will operate Friday through Sunday through November.

The Roanoke Valley Transportation Planning Organization (RVTPO) is collecting public input on projects seeking federal Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) and Carbon Reduction Program (CRP) funding. Your feedback helps prioritize investments that improve safety, reduce congestion, and cut emissions across our region.

The National Parks Service has received funding for improvements to the trailhead parking area for an important investment in safety, access, and the overall visitor experience.
