Roanoke County Administration Center (5204 Bernard Dr, Roanoke, VA 24018) will be closing early on Thursday, March 5, at 3 p.m. due to mechanical issues.

Roanoke County Administration Center will reopen on Friday, March 6, at 8 a.m. and will close at 11 a.m.

Get your hiking bag ready! The McAfee K**b Trailhead Shuttle is almost back.

Starting March 6, the shuttle will operate Friday through Sunday through November.

The National Parks Service has received funding for improvements to the trailhead parking area for an important investment in safety, access, and the overall visitor experience.
