8th Grade Field Day is tomorrow, June 2nd and we still need your help! WWMS would like to borrow a few yard games and they also need volunteers and supplies. Please check out the signup genius to see how you can help! Items can be dropped off at the glass office anytime today and tomorrow morning.

Please help the PTA support the eighth grade field day. Items that are being donated or loaned can be dropped off at the school any time on June 1. Volunteers are needed to help with the event the morning of June 2.

A big thank you to all of our parents and guardians that helped make our Teacher Appreciation Week great! We didn’t take many pictures but we had a great ice cream bar on Monday, duty-free lunch for teachers on Tuesday, two carts full of delicious desserts on Wednesday, a successful gift card raffle on Thursday, and today we finished the week with a spectacular breakfast bar.

We appreciate all that our teachers and staff at Woodrow do every day!

Please sign up to help the Woodrow PTA provide an ice cream bar on Monday, April 27 and a traveling dessert cart on Wednesday, April 29. Ice cream bar items should be dropped off at the glass office by 3 PM Monday; dessert cart items should be dropped off Wednesday morning.

The Community Builders – Dream It, Build It Camp is a hands-on summer experience designed to expose students to exciting careers in manufacturing, skilled trades, and STEM.

Students will gain experience with:
Fabrication
Welding
CNC Machining
Problem-Solving & Teamwork
Real-World Technical Skills

🎓 WHO CAN ATTEND?
Rising 8th and 9th graders in Roanoke City Public Schools
Students may attend one session only
Limited to 20 students per session
