After weeks of unusual dinosaur activity across Botetourt County Libraries… we’re happy to report that the Summer Reading Challenge is officially off to an amazing start. 🦖

The dinosaur situation across all branches is now under control and we're pleased to announce that the Summer Reading Challenge is wholly safe ( ...definitely safe... and fun!) for the whole family. 👀

Join us as we kick off a summer filled with books, programs, crafts, adventures, and community. We look forward to building a summer of readers and memories together with you!

GOOD NEWS! Both Eagle Rock and Fincastle libraries now have limited internet access. Most services are back up, although public internet and WiFi may be not be available at normal levels temporarily.

UPDATE: Fincastle Library internet is also down (but phones are working).

⚠️ Internet Outage at Eagle Rock Library ⚠️

Eagle Rock Library is currently experiencing an internet outage. At this time, the following services are unavailable:

❌ Checkouts & checkins
❌ Phones
❌ Account lookups
❌ Public computers & WiFi
❌ Printing & faxing
❌ Most other services requiring internet access

We appreciate your patience while service is restored and will post an update as soon as we’re back online! 📚
