A little over a year ago Angel Wives Leader Angie Brunkhardt landed at Veterans Point for a Galentines Sourdough workshop. Little did we know then what that connection would turn into for her and so many others.

Angel Wives blossomed out of a passion of Angie’s to help other widowed Veteran spouses navigate the difficulties that come with losing their husbands. This isn’t just a group it’s a sisterhood of women who can truly say “I get it” and walk alongside one another in the happy and the hard.

Angie desires to connect with wives who are facing terminal illness with their spouses and help them navigate the difficulties ahead with a supportive group of women surrounding them.

We are excited to be partnering up with Run Different to participate in their military themed races for 2026 🇺🇸

We kicked off the year of “Quarterly 5ks” in Aubrey, TX with a group of Veterans, their family members, and supportive friends who are eager to live an active lifestyle amongst a healthy like minded community.

VP Golf has been such an amazing demonstration of the heart of what we do! This week we had Veterans from our Veteran Fly-Tying group join us for golf. That kind of interweaved community is what we are trying to develop.

It doesn't have to be clinical or programmatic, it's not transactional, it's about bringing people together for purposeful, hope driven fellowship.
