Congratulations to Detective Sciarrillo!

Today, Detective Sciarrillo was honored in Austin with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) State of Texas Law Enforcement Achievement Award for Public Service. Chief Williams and Captain Arndt were proud to travel with him to accept this prestigious statewide recognition.

The TCOLE Public Service Achievement Award recognizes law enforcement professionals whose work has made a significant and lasting positive impact on their communities. Detective Sciarrillo’s dedication to serving others and improving the lives of those in crisis is a shining example of that mission.

Hey everyone, it’s National Donut Day!

You know… the day when the Dunkin’ Donuts guy from our childhood drives around handing out free donuts to all the happy police officers.

At least that’s what we thought was supposed to happen…

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, HR has once again refused to recognize National Donut Day as an official city holiday. Apparently “paid donut appreciation leave” is not a valid benefit.

We’ll keep fighting the good fight…

Happy National Donut Day!
