Last night, we had our annual appreciation dinner for our members. We want to thank the following for finding the time to join our celebration with their busy schedules.

Richard Williams, Region 7, IEMA Coordinator
Ted Berger, IEMA Director
Christopher Dodd, IEMA Operations Chief
Dennis Tipsword, Illinois State Representative
Sherriff Matt Smith
Chip Wilmot, MABAS Operation Branch Chief for our region.

We also have a change with our command staff. After 40+ years, Mike Oltman is stepping down from Deputy Director to a lower position to allow more time with his career. We are very grateful for all the time and knowledge Mike provided. Replacing him will be Stacy Amigoni who has been with the team since 1982.

This year’s Bob Hix Memorial award for outstanding service and dedication was presented to Bruce Wyss and Lori Marion, Community Events Coordinator. We have a fantastic team and look forward to assisting our community in 2026.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
