The Robbinsdale OES Dining Hall was fortunate to have two different menu items selected as New Fair Foods at the Minnesota State Fair. In 2014, we had PB&J Stuffed French Toast. We also had Purple Pancake Dippers in 2016. It was always fun because it brought new people and publicity to our dining hall and our mission of raising funds for charitable causes! 🥞🥓🍞🥜🍓

Many special memories were made at the Robbinsdale OES Dining Hall at the Minnesota State Fair.

However, our dining hall played an extra special part in one couple’s story. We hosted their wedding reception in our building in 2016, complete with a corn dog arch and wedding cake! They came back for a visit the following year. Congrats to Stephanie and Paul! 💍♥️

Food on a stick? You didn’t find that at the Robbinsdale OES Dining Hall at the Minnesota State Fair. We offered simple tasty meals where you could pull up a chair, grab those utensils and enjoy something lovingly prepared by the hundreds of volunteers who served.

Happy First Day of the Minnesota State Fair! This time of year is bittersweet as we reflect on the 80 years of the Robbinsdale OES Dining Hall at the Fair. We’ve enjoyed partnering with the Seven Dreams Education Foundation for the past several years. The foundation provides hands-on classroom learning grants and student programs for students in Robbinsdale District #281. One of their new fundraisers is the 281 Club. A simple tax-deductible monthly gift of just $2.81 supports the students in our school district!

Each year, the amazing staff of Robbinsdale Area Schools participates in the Seven Dreams Education Foundation's Staff Charitable Giving Campaign, and we invite community members to join this recurring monthly support opportunity.

Recurring monthly giving allows Seven Dreams to plan sustainable support for RAS students and is integral to the success of our foundation and to our continued ability to provide grants for hands-on classroom learning opportunities.

The next fundraiser we are highlighting is for Minnesota DeMolay. Any Master Masons who were not members of DeMolay as a youth are invited to participate in the Honorary DeMolay Degree on Saturday, September 12th at the Masonic Heritage Center in Bloomington. The cost for dinner and the degree is a donation to DeMolay and you can choose where you would like your donation to go (general donation, specific chapter).
